London Bay Development Group Breaks Ground on The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay Second Tower

Amid the project’s unprecedented sales success of $650 million, construction commences on the project’s North Tower.

NAPLES, Fla. (May 8) ─ Prominent Southwest Florida developer and project visionary London Bay Development Group announced today the groundbreaking of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay North Tower. With the South Tower generating exceptional demand, slated to start welcoming residents in early 2026, and overall sales of both towers reaching 60%, the North Tower becomes the second of the development’s two 22-story buildings to break ground. Totaling $650 million in sales to date, the project’s success marks record sales pace for Bonita Springs, Fla., and surrounding Southwest Florida markets, with buyers drawn to the property due to its unrivaled offerings.

Located within the serene waterfront community of Saltleaf on Estero Bay and situated amid 500 acres of nature preserve, an architectural masterpiece of two towers will rise 22 stories, totaling 224 condominium homes upon completion. Designed by globally acclaimed architecture firm Arquitectonica, the cascading façades of the buildings are inspired by the tranquil waterfront setting, integrating harmoniously into the surrounding topography.

"This project has been filled with memorable milestones along the way, from the groundbreaking to the topping out of our first, South Tower, but the start of construction of the North Tower marks an especially meaningful chapter," said Mark Wilson, CEO of London Bay Development Group. "Reaching this point reflects the incredible sales success and remarkable construction progress we've achieved. It’s an honor to watch this community come to life each day, and I look forward to the day our residents come home and experience everything we’ve thoughtfully created for them.”

London Bay Development Group, city officials and development partners gathered at the project’s construction site to celebrate the groundbreaking on May 8th. Honorary guests included Bonita Springs Mayor Mike Gibson and City Council members Laura Carr, Jesse Purdon and Jamie Bogacz.

Priced from the $3 millions, residences range from 2,628 to 3,885 square feet and include two, three or four bedrooms with a den. Unobstructed sunset views of the bay and spacious balconies up to 2,200 square feet enhance enjoyment of daily life. Storage will be abundant, with generous bedroom closets and a personal private storage unit located on each floor. Owners will have a choice of three finish packages assembled by Meyer Davis Studio, the award-winning New York design studio behind the property’s stunning interiors and impressive shared spaces.

The Ritz-Carlton’s iconic hospitality will be felt throughout the ownership lifestyle, especially through The Experience Studio, a dedicated team devoted to the art of living well — from arranging services like personalized spa treatments or private training sessions, to booking restaurant reservations.

A rich program of amenities spans five acres, with 36,000 square feet of indoor offerings. This includes a Wellness Center with fitness equipment, a yoga and Pilates studio, steam rooms, and sauna. The Oasis, a centrally located 8,000-square-foot space, will offer a Sunset Lounge, private dining room, Sports & News Café, Wine & Whiskey Room, Card Room and demonstration and catering kitchen. The North Tower will feature additional amenities, including a state-of-the-art sports simulator, providing enthusiasts and athletes with an indoor venue to hone their skills, from golf to soccer. A screening room will offer a theater-like setting for enjoying favorite films and shows with family and friends.

The property’s outdoor oasis stimulates tranquility, surrounded by enchanting gardens by landscape architect EDSA. Residents can enjoy three pools, abundant open spaces, and floating-like pavilions at an expansive 1-acre lagoon that visually flows into Estero Bay. Bocce courts, multiple fire pits and barbeque stations also provide abundant activities that promote group gatherings.

For those in need of additional space, a limited number of Tower Suites are available, presenting an exclusive opportunity for owners to purchase flexible accommodation within the building. Ideal for hosting guests or creating a personal studio or home office, these suites offer customization to suit any lifestyle.

Just steps from The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, the master-plan coastal community of Saltleaf on Estero Bay includes Saltleaf Marina, which will directly neighbor the residences, offering private boat slips and a waterfront restaurant operated by globally acclaimed The Mina Group, as well as Saltleaf Golf Preserve, presenting a fully reimagined 18-hole championship course, known as 'The Preserve,' and a 9-hole short course, ‘The Leaf.' Both courses are open to the public, no membership required. Tee times are currently available for booking at saltleafgolf.com.

The property is just a short drive from some of the best beaches in the country, as well as dining, boutiques, and galleries. It's also only 20 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport. For more information, visit www.TheResidencesEsteroBay.com.
